I specialize in supporting LGBTQ+ adults, teens, and young adults navigating anxiety, trauma, neurodivergence, chronic illness, grief, and relationship challenges through trauma-informed, body-based, and relational therapy
Why can’t I just get over this? I’m sick of my past running my life.
How am I supposed to keep it together when nothing seems to be getting better?
Why do I feel so exhausted from explaining my gender and sexual identities in environments where I’m supposed to be the one receiving care?
Many clients come to therapy feeling exhausted from holding it all together on their own. The cracks may be starting to show—perhaps through waves of anxiety that interrupt work or relationships, or through a persistent sense of numbness and disconnection from one’s authentic self. There’s often an awareness of deep pain carried within, accompanied by fear about what facing it might bring.
Whether navigating the aftermath of trauma, processing profound grief, managing the emotional weight of chronic illness, struggling with relationship patterns, or wrestling with questions of identity, clients seek support when they’re ready to stop struggling alone and begin genuine healing.
In sessions with me, you’ll actively practice new ways of living– not just talk about it. First, we’ll take the time to get to know each other and set collaborative goals. Then, we’ll explore what’s really going on under the surface, at your pace. We may build new coping skills, safely release pent up emotions, and gently learn to name the losses that have shaped you. Moving at the pace of trust, we’ll collaboratively find your unique path towards a life you love.
I work with adults, teens, and young adults navigating anxiety, trauma, grief, chronic illness, and relationship challenges. In my approach I integrate Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Emotion Focused Therapy, somatic, attachment, and polyvagal-informed interventions, and a relational therapeutic style. My work is grounded in an equity-centered, decolonial lens that recognizes how systems, power, and identity impact mental health.
As a non-binary therapist, I’m especially passionate about working with LGBTQ+ individuals, including transgender and gender-expansive people, non-straight sexualities, and clients navigating non-monogamous or BDSM-informed relationships.
My style is calm, compassionate, and attuned. Healing happens when your nervous system no longer has to stay on high alert – when you feel safe enough to reconnect with and trust yourself.
If you’re looking for a therapist who will meet you with care, curiosity, and respect for your whole experience, I offer a free 15-minute Exploratory Call to explore whether working together feels like a good fit.
