I specialize in working with children, including neurodivergent kiddos, and often incorporate gaming and video game therapy as a way to build connection, social skills, and emotional regulation. I also work with young adults who feel stuck, lost, or unsure of how to launch into life—especially those navigating a deep sense of not belonging and substance use.

If you’re a parent worried about your child’s big emotions or concerning behaviors…

If you’re a teen feeling overwhelmed or misunderstood…

If you’re a young adult struggling to find your footing, especially when substances have become part of the picture…

Or if your whole family is feeling stuck in power struggles and unsure how to relate to each other differently…

My work centers around connection, creativity, and curiosity. Whether I’m using play-based therapy with a young child, incorporating gaming and video game therapy with a teen, supporting a young adult in recovery, or guiding a family through stuck patterns, my goal is always the same: to create a space where everyone feels truly seen, safe, and supported.

When I work with children and teens, I often incorporate experiential, play-based, and gaming approaches to help them express what’s hard to put into words. For many kids, especially those who feel more comfortable online than face-to-face, gaming can become a powerful bridge—supporting connection, communication, emotional regulation, and confidence. Rather than taking away what works for them, we use it to build real-world skills and relationships.

Together, we explore emotions, build coping skills, and strengthen their sense of self through approaches that feel natural, engaging, and meaningful.

With families, I draw from the Collaborative & Proactive Solutions (CPS) model and the Theraplay framework to reduce power struggles, restore trust, and rebuild connection. These approaches help us better understand what’s underneath behaviors and support more effective, collaborative ways of moving forward.

I also support young adults who feel stuck, disconnected, or unsure how to launch into the next chapter of life. This might look like navigating identity, independence, or relationships—especially when substance use is part of the story.

I approach this work with warmth, honesty, and trauma-informed care. My style is collaborative and grounded, always honoring your unique context and strengths. Together, we’ll figure out what you need to feel more regulated, connected, and empowered.

My approach is neurodiversity-affirming, LGBTQIA+ affirming, and grounded in the belief that you don’t have to earn acceptance, approval, or love by being “good” or anything other than your true self.

If you or your child are navigating tough transitions, hard feelings, or a sense of being “too much,” I’d be honored to walk alongside you.

If you think we might be a good fit, I’d love to connect.
